Planning for one of the most important days of your life can be stressful, which is why I want the process of ordering your wedding cake to go as smoothly as possible!

Here are some frequently asked questions that can help get the process going.

How much do your cakes cost?
All base pricing and additional decoration costs are listed on my order page.

What kind of flavors do you offer?
Flavors rotate on a seasonal basis. Please see the order page for current flavor options.

What kind of buttercream do you use?
All cakes are decorated using Swiss meringue buttercream.

Do you use fondant?
To protect the flavor and structural integrity of the cake, I do not and will not use fondant. No exceptions!

Do you make sheet cakes?
I do not offer sheet cakes at this time.

How do tastings work?
I offer a tasting box that can be ordered for pick-up or delivery. Each box contains samples of all seasonal flavors that are available at the time. The boxes are meant to be taken home and shared (or not) with your partner, friends and family!

How much cake do I need to serve my party size?
This is completely dependent upon personal preference! My order page lists serving sizes next to each cake size offered. My smallest cake size starts at 8 servings, with my largest cake size offering yielding 100 servings.

For receptions that require more than 100 servings, you may choose to order a trio of decorated cakes, or one decorated cake for displaying/cutting and multiple “basic” cakes for serving.

How does delivery work?
All cakes are delivered by myself or a trusted team member of Floret Cakery. Once the cake is delivered, a member of the wedding party or facility the reception is being held at will be responsible for cutting the cake for guests.

How much does delivery cost?
For cakes delivered within city limits, a $15 delivery fee will be added to the final cost of the cake.
For cakes delivered within 10 miles of city limits, a $25 delivery fee will be added to the final cost of the cake.
Any cakes delivered outside of the 10 mile range will include a $50 flat delivery fee, no exceptions.
